Deposit and Cancellation Policy
Deposit: We require a deposit of £50.00 per adult at the time of booking to confirm a reservation.
Cancellation: Deposit payments are not refundable if the reservation is cancelled 30 days or less from the date of arrival. Your deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made in writing at least 30 days before the date of arrival. Please note, and administration fee of £10.00 will be charged on all refunded deposits. If the reservation is cancelled 48 hours or less before your check in time, we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the reservation minus the cost of all meals included in the rate.
Curtailment: If a reservation is cut short, either 48 hours or less before your check in time, or after you have checked in, we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the reservation minus the cost of all meals included in the rate to your credit or debit card.
Arrivals and Departures
Rooms are available from 2.30pm and guests are requested to leave their rooms on the day of departure by 11.00am. Guests are very welcome to use our leisure facilities before their room is ready and after check out.
Children
We positively welcome children and provide many indoor and outdoor facilities. None of these facilities are supervised by hotel staff, therefore, parents are advised to oversee their children, particularly in the swimming pool and adventure playground. For safety reasons, we do not recommend that top bunks are used by children under 6 years old.
Dress Code
Please note that after 6.30pm in the bar and in the Dining Room for dinner and for dances, the required dress code for gentlemen is smart or smart casual, eg: trousers and shirt or shirt and tie. Jeans and trainers are not permitted for gentlemen or ladies during these times.
Smoking
By Scottish Law, smoking is not permitted in any area inside the hotel. There is a smoking area located outside the hotel entrance. A cleaning charge of £100.00 will be applied to your account if you smoke in your bedroom.
Wines & Spirits
We would advise that guests are not permitted to bring alcohol into the hotel.
Dogs
The management regret that dogs are not allowed in the hotel (except guide dogs). Our sister hotel, the Park, does welcome dogs.
Service
All our staff work very hard to ensure you enjoy complete satisfaction during your stay. The hotel does not operate a service charge in our rates, if you would like to leave a gratuity or tip you are very welcome to do so at Reception. These will be gratefully received and will be distributed to all our hardworking staff.
