Food and drink at Peebles Hydro
At Peebles Hydro the emphasis is on quality and service. If you’re looking for a quick bite, something a bit more formal, a tasty lunch, or just need to satisfy those hungry youngsters, you’ll find it all here.
All of our bars and restaurants are open to non-residents too.
The best local produce
We know that freshness and quality are important to our guests, so we work hard to include the best local produce and seasonal ingredients. That’s why you’ll find our menus change regularly.
And great service too
When it comes to making you feel welcome, we really do try that little bit harder. So of you don’t see anything you’d like on the menu – or simply want to tweak a dish – we’ll get creative. Just ask.
The Dining Room
With fantastic views over the Tweed, the Dining Room really enjoys one of the most beautiful settings for a restaurant in the Scottish Borders. The restaurant offers classic Scottish dishes, with a menu that changes daily.
It’s open for breakfast and dinner, seven days a week, with a carvery on the first Sunday of each month.
We open at 6pm so the little ones can enjoy dinner with mum and dad. Or if you’d like a romantic dinner for two a little later, the kids can enjoy our kids club from 7.30pm.
The Cocktail Bar
With candlelit tables, the Cocktail Bar is ideal for a relaxing drink before, and after, your meal. The bar stocks a wide range of Scottish malts whiskies, and bar nibbles if you’re feeling a little peckish.
The hotel has two welcoming lounges where you can relax and enjoy our all day menu packed with delicious drinks, sandwiches and cakes. Or if you’re after a traditional Afternoon Tea then we have an array of choices awaiting you. Both are at the front of the hotel, so offer the famous Peebles Hydro views over the Tweed valley.
