Peebles Hydro has teamed up with Borders Boot Camp to offer an exciting new fitness package, combining 4 star hotel accommodation with a structured fitness day, and all set in the beautiful Scottish Borders countryside.

Borders Boot Camp is recognised as not just the leading boot camp in Scotland but in the UK.  The Borders Boot Camp team are not just extremely experienced fitness instructors but fantastic motivators too – all in a non-military fashion.

Using the stunning Scottish Borders countryside our 2 Night Boot Camp Fitness Breaks include a taster boot camp day from 9am to 5pm and is designed to give you an intense workout, burn fat and maximise weight loss, helping you reach fitness levels you never thought possible.  All abilities are very welcome and the boot camp fitness campaign is for both men and women.

Day 1

  • Arrive at Peebles Hydro, your bedroom is ready from 2.30pm, but don’t let that stop you from coming earlier for lunch in Lazels Bistro, book a treatment in our Health & Beauty Salon or use the leisure facilities such as the gym and pool.
  • Enjoy complimentary afternoon tea in our newly refurbished lounge.
  • A great way to start the evening is with complimentary canapés in the cocktail bar whilst enjoying pre dinner drinks.
  • A delicious 4 course table d’hote dinner is served in our beautiful dining room.

Day 2 / Boot Camp Fitness Day

Get fit from 9am to 5pm – examples of some of the activities included are:

  • Hiking
  • Nordic walking
  • Circuit training
  • Boxercise
  • Core training
  • Team games
  • Light lunch at Peebles Hydro
  • Borders Boot Camp in PeeblesWe suggest a light breakfast this morning as your boot camp fitness programme starts at 9am with an introduction to the Borders Boot Camp team of experienced instructors.
  • Then you head out into the great outdoors and make the most of our beautiful Scottish countryside by hiking or nordic walking in the local hills and forests.
  • Back to Peebles Hydro for a light lunch and other activities such as circuit training, boxercise, core training and team games.
  • Your fitness day ends at 5pm and you may want to just relax by the pool, sauna or in the steam room.
  • End the day with a complimentary drink then reward yourself with a delicious 4 course dinner in the evening – you will definitely have earned it.

Please note if you would like to book a treatment for the end of your fitness day it is always advisable to book in advance.

What to wear?
You will need to be suitably dressed for a long hike/Nordic walk (walking boots or shoes), rucksack containing waterproofs, camera, water bottle and sun cream if the sun is shining.  For the afternoon please bring a pair of trainers and spare exercise gear should you get really wet.  All equipment is provided by Borders Bootcamp.
