The Perfect Serve

Here are some ideas for you to enjoy 1881 Gin – perfectly served in a cold long stem balloon glass. Don’t forget the ice, place four to six spherical ice balls in the glass before pouring.

1881 London Dry Classic

  1. Pour a 25ml or 35ml measure of 1881 London Dry gin on top of the ice
  2. Garnish the glass with a dried/dehydrated disc of pink grapefruit on top of the ice
  3. Add two twists of fresh pink grapefruit zest in the glass
  4. Pour the desired Tonic 81 tonic

1881 Pavilion Pink Gin

1881 Pavilion Pink Gin

  1. Pour a 25ml or 35ml measure of 1881 Pavilion Pink Gin gin on top of the ice
  2. Add to the glass three or four hibiscus petals
  3. Four raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  4. Six fresh leaves of mint
  5. Serve with Tonic 81 Premium or Elderflower

1881 Subtly Smoked Gin

  1. Pour a 25ml or 35ml measure of 1881 Subtly Smoked Gin on top of the ice
  2. Add to the rim of the glass a lime wedge and a red or green chili
  3. Lovely with Tonic 81 Premium or Tonic 81 Light

1881 Navy Strength Gin

  1. Apply three or four scant dashes of Angostura bitters
  2. Rotate the glass for 15/20 seconds and discard the ice balls
  3. Replace the discarded ice balls with fresh ones
  4. Pour a 25ml or 35ml measure of 1881 Navy strength Gin on top of the ice
  5. Place a disc of dry or dehydrated orange
  6. Two fresh, sugared strips of orange rind in the glass
  7. Your choice from the Tonic 81 range – anything one goes
