BOOK YOUR FESTIVE DINING

We can't wait to welcome you to Peebles Hydro for a truly magical Christmas. To make sure everything is ready for your arrival, from festive feasts to family favourites, we kindly ask that you complete your dining reservations by 31st October 2025.

You'll need to make a separate booking for each date and time of your festive stay (five in total). Once submitted, your reservations are confirmed and you will receive a confirmation email for each booking. If you don't receive an email, you booking has not been completed, and you'll need to try again.

To secure your tables, simply use the reservation calendars below. If you are making a booking for a group, which includes multiple hotel rooms, we kindly ask that you please include each reservation number into the comments section of your dining reservations.

The big day has arrived. Celebrate Christmas in The Grill Room with a spectacular lunch featuring all the festive trimmings. In the evening, enjoy our buffet from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. No reservations are required for the evening buffet, simply come and enjoy.

Booking your dining

Which meals do I need to pre-book?

We kindly ask that you book your dining times for:

Lunch and dinner on Christmas Eve (24th December 2025)
Christmas Day lunch (25th December 2025)
Lunch and dinner on Boxing Day (26th December 2025)

I am the lead booker for a larger party. How do I book so that we are all seated together?

When you are booking your dining times, simply add the reservation numbers from all bookings into the comments section on the booking calendars. Your reservation number can be found in the confirmation email you received when you made your accommodation booking.

Do I need to arrive early for my reservations?

We ask that you arrive a few minutes before your booking time, to ensure that we can get everyone seated and begin service on time.

Can we view the menus before we arrive?

Yes, our festive dining menus will be available to view on our website closer to the event.

Do I need to book breakfast?

When you check in at the hotel, our Reception Team will arrange your breakfast times with you directly. Breakfast will be served between 8:00am and 10:00am each morning.

Someone in our party has dietary requirements, how do I let you know about these?

When making your bookings, let us know about any dietary requirements in the comments section on the booking calendars for each booking.

We are staying at the hotel and would like non-residents to join us for a meal, is this possible?

Unfortunately, this is not possible as the festive breaks are offered as an inclusive package exclusively for residents.

Do you have high chairs?

Yes, we do. When booking, please request a high chair in the comments section. This will need to be done for each of the five reservations.

What is the dress code for Christmas Day lunch?

Smart-casual attire is recommended for our Christmas Day lunch.

Are you serving dinner on Christmas Day?

Yes, we'll be serving a buffet dinner in The Grill Room between 6:30pm - 8:00pm. We do not require bookings for this, you are free to come and go as you please.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, of course. While The Grill Room is not dog-friendly, our Reception Team will be happy to arrange festive dining in the Miller Lounge. To arrange this, please contact us at hotel@peebleshydro.co.uk
