BOOK YOUR FESTIVE DINING

We can't wait to welcome you to Peebles Hydro for our Hogmanay celebrations. To make sure everything is ready for your arrival, from festive feasts to family favourites, we kindly ask that you complete your dining reservations by 31st October 2025.

On 31st December, all guests will be seated together for the Hogmanay banquet at 7:00pm.

You'll need to make a separate booking for each date and time of your festive stay (four in total). Once submitted, your reservations are confirmed, and you will receive a confirmation email for each booking. If you don't receive an email, your booking has not been completed, and you'll need to try again.

To secure your tables, simply use the reservation calendars below. If you are making a booking for a group, which includes multiple hotel rooms, we kindly ask that you please include each reservation number into the comments section of your dining reservations.

Guests are invited to lunch in The Grill Room, before the evening’s highlight - the Hogmanay banquet for all to enjoy at 7:00pm, a sparkling celebration to welcome the New Year. Make the most of the occasion and step into the evening in your finest festive attire, from traditional kilts to elegant evening wear.

Which meals do I need to pre-book?

We kindly ask that you book your dining times for:

Lunch and dinner on 30th December
Lunch on 31st December
Dinner on 1st January

I am the lead booker for a larger party. How do I book so that we are all seated together?

When you are booking your dining times, please include the reservation numbers for all members of your party in the comments section of the booking calendar. You’ll find your reservation number in the confirmation email sent after making your accommodation booking.

Do I need to arrive early for my reservations?

We recommend arriving a few minutes before your booking time so we can seat everyone promptly and begin service on time.

Can we view the menus before we arrive?

Yes, our festive dining menus will be available to view on our website closer to the event.

Do I need to book breakfast?

When you check in at the hotel, our hotel Reception Team will arrange your breakfast times with you when you check in. Breakfast will be served between 08:00 to 10:00 each morning, with the exception of the 1st January, where we will instead be serving brunch from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

Is lunch being served on New Year's Day?

We'll be serving a relaxed New Year's Day brunch from 11:00am to 2:00pm. No need to book in advance - just come along whenever you are ready.

Someone in our party has dietary requirements, how do I let you know about these?

When making your bookings, please include details of any dietary requirements in the comments section of the booking calendar for each reservation.

We are staying at the hotel and would like non-residents to join us for a meal, is this possible?

Unfortunately, this is not possible as the festive breaks are offered as an inclusive package exclusively for resident guests.

Do you have highchairs available?

Yes, we do. When booking, please request a highchair in the comments section. This will need to be done for each of the four reservations.

What is the dress code for the Hogmanay Banquet?

Smart attire is recommended for our Christmas Day lunch.

Do I need to make a reservation for the Hogmanay Banquet?

Everyone will be seated together at 19:00, so there is no need to pre-book. If you are planning on dining with your dog, please do get with our reception team, as while The Grill Room is not dog-friendly, our Reception Team will be happy to arrange festive dining in the Miller Lounge. Is there an early dining option for children on Hogmanay?

Yes, there is. We’ll be serving a children’s tea buffet in the Regency from 5:00pm to 5:45pm. On the day, our restaurant team will check with you on the day if you’d like your children to enjoy the buffet.

Can I dine with my dog?

Yes of course. While The Grill Room is not dog-friendly, our Reception Team will be happy to arrange festive dining in the Miller Lounge. To arrange this, please contact us on hotel@peebleshydro.co.uk
