Although our Wi-Fi is free for guests, it is only accessible for devices that can accept our terms and conditions on the Wi-Fi landing page in order to authenticate the device.
Of course. Although, we do only allow two well behaved dogs per room and there is a charge of £30 per night.
Your dogs are welcome to join you in The Miller Lounge and Not The Cocktail Bar. Dogs are not allowed in The Grill Room or when we serve Afternoon Tea.
We offer plenty of ‘add-ons’ – flowers, chocolate, wine – you’ll find them all under the ‘Personalise your stay’ section when making your booking.
Yes, we’ve made every effort to ensure that our facilities are accessible for all our guests. In fact, you can find out a lot more about our accessible facilities in the separate accessibility FAQ.
All of our rooms are non-smoking, with smoking being prohibited inside the building too. Smoking inside our rooms will incur an automatic £250 charge (making it the most expensive cigarette you have ever had).

In a word - yes.
Rooms with plenty room to move? We’ve got those. Restaurant with space to get around? There’s heaps. Easy access to the beautiful town of Peebles and the River Tweed? Absolutely. Everyone’s welcome at Peebles Hydro – and we’re always looking for ways to improve accessibility.
Parking
Our easy-access parking couldn’t be closer to the main entrance, and we also have a reserved drop off zone. Once you’re parked, take our lift up to reception to check in. Take our lift up or down to your floor, or simply proceed along the corridor.
Stay
Need a bit more space? We have large front facing rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms – including handrails and a seat. We also have inter connected rooms, if you want to be close to a friend or loved one. Not sure? Just give us a call and we’ll talk you through the options.
Eat
There’s plenty of room at our tables. We’ve made it easy for people in wheelchairs to maneuver around our restaurant. What about the toilets? There are accessible ones near to the restaurant.
Spa
A quick half hour pick-me-up. Or a full day of gentle pummelling, heady aromas and new sensations. Just let us know what you have in mind, and we’ll book you into one of our treatment rooms. Simply pop in the lift and take it to our spa at basement level.
Leisure
Our pool has changing/shower facilities and is accessible by wheelchair. At the moment don’t have a hoist for lifts into the water.
Guide Dogs
We are a dog friendly hotel, so it goes without saying, guide dogs and hearing dogs are always welcome at Peebles Hydro.
