Function rooms

  • Rooms at Peebles Hydro

Flexible event space in the heart of the Scottish Borders.

From a training session to a product launch. An annual conference to a board meeting. Our seven flexible event spaces will make your gathering an event to remember.

Slap bang in the middle of our hotel, the Ballroom’s a popular space – and our biggest one. With vaulted ceilings, a dance floor, built in bar and stage, and skylight giving you plenty of natural light, it’s the perfect spot for a large conference, or a big old party.

The Restaurant

Whatever’s happening inside is influenced by what’s going on outside. In this case, the outside happens to be a spectacular view across the Tweed Valley. Our recently refurbished dining room is sleek, simple and understated, and our furniture gives the whole restaurant a contemporary twist.

Edinburgh Suite

Sitting on the quiet East Wing of the hotel, our Edinburgh Suite is a bright, open space that can hold large and small events. It’s got the ability to divide into two different function rooms, or stay as one for bigger functions.

The Regency’s recently had a pretty stunning transformation. And it’s home to some spectacular views across the Tweed Valley too. With a bright and airy atmosphere, and its central location in the hotel, this elegant room is always popular for informal meetings and dining.

The Bannockburn room’s got history coming out the walls – literally. Have your meeting or private dining surrounded by a wall mural of the Battle of Bannockburn, in the only room left standing after the fire destroyed the Hydro back in 1905. It’s complimented by wood panelling, tartan fixtures, an open fire and a large bay window to give you loads of natural light.

Our Glentress room sits in the centre of the hotel. Bright and airy, it’s a favourite for smaller parties. It connects to the Bannockburn room so can be used as a syndicate room too.

Right at the heart of our hotel, the Manor room’s intimate setting is popular for both meetings and private dining. It’s got a spacious feel and light sourced from chandeliers which you can have as bright or as dim as you choose. It connects to the Ballroom so it’s ideal as a syndicate room or drinks reception area too.
